Changes and bugs fixed in this version A06

1). Added support for Inspiron splash screen

2). Added support for Aironet card under Windows 98. The system can now
resume properly after standby if the default setting in the BIOS setup is
choosen.

3). Added support for the password. The length is now limits to 4 ~ 8
characters.

4). Added support for the battery auto-learning. The maximum capacity of
the battery is recalibrated.

Installation instructions
This is a self-extracting file that contains the A06 System BIOS for the Inspiron 2000 notebook. After downloading, run the A06_I2k.EXE file from within Windows ONLY, and it will create the bootable BIOS diskette. Reboot the system with this diskette in the A: drive to flash the system.

NOTE:
When flashing the BIOS back to any previous verison the
user must use the follow switch to overide the error message "(DMI string too large)":
phlash (file.bin) /mode=3
