Important Information

Password Synchronization Capability Feature -

This feature adds a "Use Windows Logon" option designed for use with Cisco's proprietary LEAP authentication requiring credentials in the form of User Name and Password. If "Use Windows Logon" is selected, the profile will use the user name and password credentials that were used to log on to the computer. This feature allows the password used in the wireless authentication to remain synchronized with the password used in the computer login. This feature differs from "Single Sign On" with LEAP in that Password Synchronization Capability will not allow a wireless login to a network domain controller prior to machine login.
This feature must be part of the installation to be enabled. Installation of Intel's PROSet with this feature enabled prevents users from being able to use Windows XP Fast Switching and the Welcome screen. Therefore, it is not recommended for user's who will not utilize this Password Synchronization Capability feature. If this feature is installed, the method for removing the feature is uninstalling and re-installing without the feature.
