Installation instructions

DOS package install instructions:
NOTE: You must provide a DOS bootable media, such as a USB key. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.

1. Browse to the location where you exact the PEC5220BIOS020004.exe.
2. Update the name of the file to DOS recognizable format (8.3). If you do not update the filename to 8.3 format, the filename will be truncated to 8.3 format.
3. Copy the execution files to the bootable device.
4. Boot the system to DOS by using the bootable device.
5. Run C5220BIOS020004.exe for system runs with BIOS 2.0.2 or later version, run NC5220BIOS020004.exe for system runs with 2.0.1 and early version.
6. Waiting the update process completion automatically.

Windows package install instructions:
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded C5220_BIOS_T7G6V_WN32_2.0.4.EXE file and double-click to launch update.
2. Click Install icon to continue.
3. Waiting the update process completion automatically.

Linux package install instructions:
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded C5220_BIOS_T7G6V_LN32_2.0.4.BIN file and run the file in command line.
2. Waiting the BIOS image loading finish and system backs to command line.
3. Run the reboot=k to proceed the BIOS update.
4. Waiting the update process completion automatically.

Important Information

Your system may not work properly after this version upgrade, if your system runs with BMC 1.01 and early version. So please confirm your system runs with BMC 1.02 and later version before you start to upgrade BIOS.
