1. SAS features are enabled on SATA/SAS Capable Controller if appropriate Intel(R) RAID C600 Upgrade Key is present in the system.
2. RAID 5 is no longer supported by SATA/SAS Capable Controller when SAS features are enabled.
3. Boot through expander is not supported in legacy mode.
4. SGPIO on AHCI Capable SATA Controller is disabled by default in order to support hibernation. Fix will be in a future release. The registry key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\iaStorA\Parameters\Device]LED_Supported"=dword:00000001" can be added but will disable hibernation.
5. Windows 2003 x86 installation is not supported. Fix will be in a future release.
6. The disk fault LEDs will not work when using the expander. Fix will be in a future release.
7. MPIO Load Balancing in RAID Mode is unsupported
8. A SAS Wide port spanning SCU0 and SCU1 is not supported.
9. Plugging both SCU into the same expander is not supported
PowerEdge C6220
1. In windows , click and then select
2. Select System and Security
3. Select Device Manager
4. In other devices , will find the SAS Controller with a yellow warning symbol
5. Right click the SAS Controller and select Update Driver Software
6. Select Browse my computer for driver software
7. Select Browse to navigate where the driver resides
8. Navigate to where the driver is located and select the INF from the driver folder with that has the same OS version as the system . Click Install when the system promps a Windows Security warning .
9. After the driver software is installed successfully , click Close .
10. With the installation of the new driver , the system will prompt a warning to restart the computer , please select to reboot the system .
