On certain systems you may observe that the image does not fill all of the screen and a black border appears around the edge of the screen.

Résolution

This design feature is to allow the Swipe/Slide from the edge gesture to work on the touch panel and as such this is working as designed. The dark gap between the LCD display panel and the bazel was not a valid display zone and the measurement in the LCD display zone is fulfilling the spec and the size of LCD supplied.
