Installing a hard drive or SSD blank

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.

  3. Remove a hard drive or SSD.

Steps

Insert the hard-drive or SSD blank into the hard drive or SSD slot until the release latch clicks into place.
