Blower modules
Your system
supports four hot-swappable blower modules to ensure proper cooling
of the server modules.
To provide increased cooling
for the server modules in the enclosure, you can set the blower configuration
to the Enhanced Cooling Mode (ECM) in the CMC
web interface. Disabled ECM may reduce upper ambient temperature support
on certain system configurations. ECM should be enabled for the following
conditions:
- PowerEdge M630 systems populated with processors of 120 W or more
- PowerEdge M630 systems deployed in environments where the temperature exceeds 30°C
- Any server module configuration operating in a fresh-air environment
