Removing the Speakers

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. SD memory card
    2. ExpressCard
    3. battery
    4. access panel
    5. keyboard trim
    6. keyboard
    7. optical drive
    8. hard drive
    9. WLAN card
    10. right base panel
    11. thermal module
    12. palmrest
    13. ExpressCard reader cage
    14. bluetooth module
    15. audio board
    16. LCD assembly
    17. left support frame
    18. system board
  3. Remove the screws to release the speakers.

  4. Remove the speaker cables from the routing channels.
  5. Lift the speaker out from the computer.
