First generation vs. New Alienware X51 Gaming Performance
The chart above shows how far the performance has evolved on the Alienware X51 from its first generation launch on January 2012 to the current generation. Using 3DMark 2011 Extreme as a benchmark, you can see how the overall gaming performance has increased by up to 467%.
Overall Processor and Graphics Performance
We’ve taken some of the key configurations offered and collected the 3DMark Vantage CPU benchmark scores and 3DMark for Windows Fire Strike scores to show a comparison of how performance increases by configuration with a focus on CPUs and GPUs, respectively.
Real-time In-game Performance
Using some of the major titles out there today like Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider we were able to use their built-in benchmark tools to measure how many frames per second the Alienware X51 can generate using the key configurations. Even with our lowest end configuration, the Alienware X51 can produce up to 41 frames per second at a resolution of 1920 x 1200.
