Auto-Renewal Terms for Microsoft 365

Auto-Renewal Terms for Microsoft 365

Auto-renewal ensures continued use of Microsoft 365 until you choose to cancel, with no need to keep track of renewal dates. Dell will notify you of upcoming renewals and will automatically renew your subscription until you decide to cancel.

On the renewal date, your payment method will be charged the then-current renewal rate plus applicable tax.

After activation, Dell will send an email confirming the exact renewal date.

For Annual Subscriptions:

  • The renewal date will be approximately one year after you first activate your Microsoft 365 subscription.
  • 35 days and 15 days prior to the renewal date, Dell will notify you of the exact amount of the charge via email to the address it has on file for you. You will be provided with an option to cancel the renewal.

For Monthly Subscriptions:

  • The renewal date will be approximately one month after you first activate your Microsoft 365 subscription.
  • 15 days prior to the renewal date, Dell will notify you of the exact amount of the charge via email to the address it has on file for you. You will be provided with an option to cancel the renewal.

Stopping Automatic Renewal for Microsoft 365 Subscriptions

Turn off the Automatic Renewal option at any time after activation in the Dell Digital Locker at www.dell.com/support/software-and-subscriptions. Login using the Dell.com account used to order your product. You will find your subscription in the “Subscriptions” menu. View your subscription details and then choose “Manage Subscription Renewal” and then “Turn off automatic renewal” to opt out of future subscription renewals.

To avoid a renewal charge for the next period, automatic renewal must be turned off prior to the renewal date.

Note: Microsoft has transitioned all Office 365 Home and Office 365 Personal subscriptions to Microsoft 365 Family and Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions respectively. The product name in the Dell Digital Locker references the product name in effect at the time of your initial purchase. Your subscription with Microsoft is for the current product.
