Cyber RecoveryにPPDMをApplicationで登録できない
Cyber Recoveryの検証をしており、PPDM Recoveryを試すため、Production Guideに従って以下を実施したのですが、Cyber RecoveryのAssetのApplicationへのPPDMの登録がエラーしてしまいました。何が要因として考えられますでしょうか？
■エラーメッセージ
Failed to create PPDM app : Host username cannot be root
■実施した内容
- Vault環境にPPDMをデプロイ（FQDNはプロダクションPPDMと同じ。IPアドレスは異なる）
- PPDMを電源ONし、New Install or Restore Backupが表示される状態を確認しそのまま
- PPDMの仮想コンソールにrootでログインし、/etc/ssh/sshd_configファイルのPasswordAuthenticationをyesに修正し、service sshd restartを実施
- PPDMのVM名にGuideにある特殊文字は使用していない
- Cyber RecoveryのGUIメニューのInfrastructure > AssetsでPPDMを以下のパラメータを入れてSaveをクリックしたところエラー
- Nicname : ppdm
- FQDN or IP address : PPDMのIPアドレス
- Host Username : root
- Host Username : rootのデフォルトパスワード
- SSH Port Number : 22 (デフォルトのまま）
- Application Type : PPDM
- Application Username : admin
- Application Password : プロダクション環境PPDMのadminパスワードと同じ値
上記の後、PPDMのコンソールにログインして、service sshd statusを確認すると、以下のログがあり、Cyber RecoveryのVMのIPアドレスからadminでSSHのログインはできていそうです。
Accepted password for ＜Cyber RecoveryのVMのIPアドレス＞
pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user admin by (uid=0)
AssetにPPDMを登録するときのHost username、Application Usernameはそれぞれroot、adminでよいのでしょうか？
PPDMは19.11.0-14です。

adminとすると、ここで入力するadminのパスワードはデフォルトのパスワードなのでしょうか？adminのデフォルトパスワードはrootのデフォルトパスワードと同じでしょうか？

とあるのでデフォルトです。またPPDMのデフォルトパスワードに関してはこちらを確認してください。

5. ［Authentication］ペインで、次の操作を実行します。
［Use same initial password for all］オプションが、デフォルトで選択されています。このトグルによって、すべての PowerProtect Data Manager インターフェイスで使用する初期パスワードが 1 個設定されます。
→条件に合うUser（PPDM操作ができるユーザー）なのでAdminでいいと思います。
条件：○ PPDM and complete the following additional fields:
￭In the Application Username field, enter the username of the application user.
￭In the Application Password field, enter the password of the application user.

→エラーメッセージののFailed to create PPDM app : Host username cannot be rootと、User Guide の以下の説明をよむか読む限り、RootでなくAdministratorではないでしょうか。

Host Password：Enter the password of the host administrator. NOTE: For PowerProtect Data Manager, enter the password for the user admin account, which is the default account.

確かにHost PasswordのNOTEみるとPPDMのデフォルトのadminアカウントのパスワードと記載されてましたね。

adminとすると、ここで入力するadminのパスワードはデフォルトのパスワードなのでしょうか？adminのデフォルトパスワードはrootのデフォルトパスワードと同じでしょうか？
それとも、VaultのPPDMのクレデンシャルはプロダクション環境側PPDMと同じにすると記載があったので、プロダクション環境PPDMのadminと同じパスワードで良いのでしょうか？
また、Host Usernameがadminだとすると、Application UsernameとPasswordは何を入力すべきでしょうか？
Product Guide P.26の以下説明を見て、こちらがadminなのかなと思ってしまいました。で、こちらがadminならHost Usernameはrootなのかと。。。どちらもadminですかね？

ありがとうございます。どちらのUsernameもadminで登録して、PPDMのRecoveryまで実施することができました。
