NS40 SPS B故障
大家好：
小弟碰到一个SPS故障的怪问题：阵列故障灯亮，SPS B故障灯没有亮，navicli命令显示SPS B故障。更换SPS B，SPSB绿灯，navishpere中仍然显示SPS B Faulted的，SPS连线和Sense cable线测试过没有问题。在论坛上看见有朋友碰到过该问题：https://community.emc.com/message/692246#692246 阿超 提到可能在R29 有一个bug。 请问有人知道是什么原因吗？ 另外，知道这个bug的具体情况，或者给一个bug的连接，谢谢。

对应这个bug的EMC KB是emc212449 “SPS battery is faulted in Navisphere and xPE fault LED is ON”，具体现象就是SPS状态灯是绿色，但SPE故障灯亮起。Workaround方法就是插拔(或替换)sense cable后，(必要时)依次重启SP：
Use the following workaround in order of increasing impact for immediate mitigation to the problem:
1. Pull sense cable inspect for pushed pins, replace if necessary. If not, hold out for at least three seconds then re-insert. Perform the action on the peer SP only if necessary.
2. Reboot the SP on the side that is reporting the error.
3. Reboot the other SP.
4. Cold power cycle the xPE enclosure.
不过我看到你贴出的日志Cable状态是Invalid Power Cable 2，建议还是再检查一下电源连线是否正确。接线方法可以参考下这篇文章：如何诊断CLARiiON或者VNX阵列的SPS故障

电源线接法应该是正确的：ns40只有一个SPE，因此SPE（包含2个SP）电源线接到SPS A， 第一个SPD的电源线接到SPS B。

试着重启该SP，线缆正常的情况下重新拔插一下。
这种情况多是由于cable的状态导致的。

如果只是解决问题，可以通过重起设备或升级版本解决，新备件也是坏的机率很低！
如果想找到根源问题，可以查查版本的realse note是否有对应的bug信息！

Roger.W 的方法试过了，阵列也重启过了，但是故障现象还是一样，有没有其他的bug信息提示一下？

你的设备也是NS40？错误信息和lz贴得错误信息是一样的吗？最好贴上来看看。一般解决方案就是上面说的：
1. 检查连线
2. 插拔或换cable
3. 重启设备
再不行的话就要收集SPcollects看看是不是真的有组件故障了。

是NS40，日志信息和楼主的一模一样，但是sps指示灯显示正常，也更换了一个sps，信号线也更换过，故障现象一样，重起设备，还是一样。

通常需要重启设备的情形是针对cable状态为Cabling Status is unknown (如下所示)。如果你的错误始终是Invalid Power Cable的话，建议还是检查接线是否正确，必要时更换sense cable。设备还在维保的话可以让800派工程师上门帮忙确认。
