1. Right click Avamar GUI icon, choose parameter, you will see target link like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\avs\administrator\7.1.0.370\bin\mcgui.bat" C:\PROGRA~2\Java\jre7
2. Go to C:\PROGRA~2\Java\jre7 and make sure JRE is installed and javaw.exe is there, if not, please reinstall JRE and Avamar GUI.
3. Run "fsutil.exe behavior query disable8dot3" in Windows command prompt to check if 8dot3 is disabled, please refer to the following article to enable it. Please note, you may need a reboot.

感謝您，剛發現java更新過了，後來avamar administrator就不能用了，
我把avamar administraotr卸載重新安裝後可以使用了~
