请问有关client更改IP的问题

修改前，停止客户端进程，修改完毕，启动客户端进程  修改客户端和备份端/etc/hosts表

命令行下也可删除客户端，在备份服务器上输入nsradmin -p nsrexec

输入visual ,选择Select ,按左右键选择NSR peer information, 然后选择Next,按回车，找到你要删除的客户端主机名后，选择Delete，删除

可是现在就有这么个客户端，给网卡加了另一个iP，也就是同时存在修改前后的2个IP，然后修改了双方的hosts文件，也重启了。但是服务器就是一直连修改之前的IP。

这个有什么方法解决吗？

host文件这些都改过，么有问题。没有做过的，就是重启了，知识不知道是否有效。另外，clientid没有变，那么备份的文件应该可以恢复吧？

是重启了备份服务器了是吧？

建议步骤：

1、停止客户端服务。

2、改IP，更新host文件。

3、改server 端host。

4、如果可以重启server端服务，删除原来客户端，重建。应该就不会再去找老的IP了。

如果您要恢复之前备份的数据， 软件应该只认主机名。如果您把主机名和IP的对应关系弄好了就可以恢复了。

很简单，你按照这个步骤做一遍就好了。

还是打不开，说什么验证不通过。不过谢谢大家，基本可能就是还需要重启服务器和客户端了，如果还不行，就重建个客户端算了。

咦？访问权限应该是面向客户的啊。我贴给你吧，太长了我就不翻译了。有疑问再交流。

Resolution

    Go into the NetWorker Management Console (NMC) as an Administrator
    In the Configuration tab click “Local Hostsâ€� on the left
    Click on the NetWorker Server hostname
    Delete the peer information for the client the DNS change was made on.
    You can also use the command line to delete the peer information for all the client servers in question:

    This will give info with the client's hostname, as well as the server/SN peer info as well.

       nsradmin -p nsrexecd.
       print type:NSR peer information;

       delete

       y

    Click on the Storage node for the client (the DNS change was made on)

    Delete the Peer Information for the client there as well.
            For the IP change of a client, the NSR Peer Information on the NetWorker Server and Storage Node would need to be deleted for the client

    Stop/Start the NetWorker Services or reboot.

Here are other things to check or try:

    Check if NetWorker Services/daemon is started on the client machine.  Restart the NetWorker client services.
    Check the local network.  Do a ping and nslookup, from both directions, Client and NetWorker server sides.  Use both the Hostname and IP address.
    Try to run a backup from the client
    Go into the NMC GUI and open CLIENT Properties, and open Global's 1 of 2.  In the Alias text area and add the Long Name, Short Name, and IP address of the client.
    Check the Host entry on the NetWorker Server as well as Client.
    Does the Client have a dual NIC? If so disable one NIC or check the DNS entry in your DNS server and make sure both are listed. Add them both into the HOSTS file.
    Put NetWorker Server name in the "server file" on the client. On Windows: generally it is in location C:\Program files\legato\nsr\res\servers
      On Unix change to the directory /nsr/res/servers
    Add the entry in “servers fileâ€� of client for the backup server. After putting entry in servers file, restart Networker services on client.
    In DNS, change the Forward and Reveres lookup and add the IP address in DNS.
    Check your login name/password if you are running backups with separate login.

楼主，你的客户端用的是双网卡还是给单网卡设了两个IP地址呢？如果是设给单网卡设了两个IP地址，那么你在服务器上的Hosts文件最好只写客户机的主机名称和它的新IP地址条目，不要把老的IP地址写进去。

我是单网卡多个IP，host文件也都是正确的，现在看来只有重启试试。

楼主，你的客户端用的是双网卡还是给单网卡设了两个IP地址呢？如果是设给单网卡设了两个IP地址，那么你在服务器上的Hosts文件最好只写客户机的主机名称和它的新IP地址条目，不要把老的IP地址写进去。
