The EMC CLARiiON CX4 family of arrays is not certified on VMware HCL with VAAI block acceleration Primitives on VMware ESXi 5.x. Using configurations where VAAI block acceleration is enabled on CX4 with ESXi 5.x is considered an unsupported configuration by VMware. If you encounter an issue that is reproducible after disabling the VAAI block acceleration primitives, VMware Global Support Services can be engaged to continue troubleshooting the reported issue in collaboration with EMC Support Staff.

LUN是在后端直接划分给VMware的，所以应当是基于CX-480的VAAI插件。
但是查询了一下兼容性列表，
EMC CX and VNX Firmware and ESX requirements for vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) support (2008822)
vSphere 5.X版本上VAAI目前无法兼容CX4。
