【解决方案相关分享】利用EMC VMAX 40K存储和VFCache技术搭建VMware私有云环境

本方案展示了如何利用EMC VMAX 40K存储和VFCache技术，来搭建VMware私有云环境，并部署多个关键应用(ORACLE,SQL OLTP/OLAP)。每个应用具有不同的负载特点，并且对底层的存储会产生不同的压力。
测试结果显示，VFCache 为读密集的应用提供了更好的性能：70%的IOPS从存储阵列转移到了VFCache。Oracle 数据库的平均响应时间从35ms下降到了3ms (大约提升12倍)。SQL Server数据库的平均响应时间从20ms下降到了3ms(大约提升7倍)。VFCache 和SQL Server FCI协作良好，并能保证数据完整性的同时加速源设备。

Would you please also advice how much performance improvement could be reached by implimenting VFcache for NAS enviremnt dealing with non-structure data, such as file server?

We focused on application performance testing in our solutions, like Oracle and SQL. We did not have the results for file server yet, but we'll have more coming out regarding VFCache this year. Stay tuned!
