Alpha R2, GTX 960, slow
I have Alienware Alpha R2 I am playing Transport fever on a large map . The problem is the more I add the slower it get . I have G Force 960 with i7 6700 cpu 2.80 GHz and 16 gig of mem . Any thing I can do to fix this ?

The 960 is the issue and you cant fix that.
You could add the external GPU (amplifier) box and a 1080ti which would cost more than a new machine.
Adding an ssd instead of hard drive will improve things 23 percent.
