Area-51 R5, upgrade ram from 8GB 2666MHz to 32GB 3200MHz

I am trying to increase and upgrade the Ram in my R5 and I purchased Kingston HyperX 2x16gb at 3200 MHz and when I install them into my machine it does not boot.  I have a 4 slots.  the single module it came with is on the left side of the cpu.  I put both on the left side and nothing.  Put the original back in and it worked.  So I put one module in that slot and nothing.   Returned the original and it works.  What am I doing wrong or not doing?
