Aurora R11, i9-10900K CPU cooler upgrade

Hello,

I have a Alienware Aurora R11, with a i7 10700F CPU. I have recently acquired a i9-10900K. I have installed the processor and booted the computer with the i7 cooler that came with the unit. Keep in mind I know the cooler is not sufficient, so I don't want to get blasted for that.

I did not game but rather booted the machine to see if everything would work correctly. It did and ran around 45c on the desktop with no applications running. However, I did adjust the fans to compensate for the lack of cooling from the cooler.

My question is, now that I know it works. What cooler do I need for the i9, and how can I obtain the hardware from dell.

Thanks in advance as I appreciate the help and support.

You also need VRM heatsinks.  This is the OEM one, price varies wildly if available

Liquid cooler is MH0HN, 109 from Dell, $45 on ebay (used), or Corsair H60 or 75, and most people use ML120 pro fans with the AIO.

Cool, the VRM heatsink is on amazon if interested.

Someone also reported buying it direct from Dell for $5.

I bought a H60 and it works awesome, at idle it is running at 30c, while gaming it runs 49 to 53c. Thanks so much.
