I'm looking at upgrading the ram in my R6.
I went on Kingston's website to check compatibility, but have seen some people post on the forum about compatibility issues.
The two I'm looking at are:
HyperX FURY Memory Black - 64GB Kit*(4x16GB) - DDR4 2400MHz CL15 DIMM
or
HyperX FURY Memory Black - 64GB Kit*(4x16GB) - DDR4 2666MHz CL16 DIMM
The specifications for the R6 says:
Speed• 2400 MHz or Up to HyperX FURY DDR4 XMP at 2667 MHz
Total memory 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB (2400 MHz only)
Can my system use the the 2667MHz or do I have to get the 2400MHz?
