Aurora R6, ram sizes
I currently have two 8GB DDR4 ram modules and am looking at getting at 16GB DDR4 ram module. Is mixing the different sizes okay or should it be avoided?

Matching ram chips is definitely the best. All ram will run at the speed of the slowest ram. Crucial or Dell -- best places to get ram. See- https://www.crucial.com/blog/memory/mix-and-match-dram

You can try, it won't break anything. There's no guarantee it will pass post. For best results buy matched RAM kits.
