Aurora-R7, CPU pump failed, thread 2
Brand new bought 2/28/2018. Loaded it up and when i went to the alien command center under the thermal status the cpu pump showed up, then it said failure and then disappeared. Ive tried all the suggestions people have posted. At this point im just lost. Any help would be appreciated.

1. OK, good. Then I think it is mechanically working properly. I would not worry.
2. In light of our trouble-shooting results, I would have to agree with that conclusion. As I said early in the thread, it's been a possibility from the start.

You should both contact Dell Phone Support.
If not to get it fixed, to at least report it.
Also, if it's not reporting in ePSA (as I mentioned earlier in the thread) you likely have a hardware problem of some kind.

I have the same issue with mine, can and just purchased it a few weeks ago and when I first used it it working fine. But now it's doing the same as you described. Wondering if you have had any new updates and it's working ok?

I had that issue before.
All I did was download the new "alienware command center" and "oc controls" drivers from the Dell site, installed (with uninstalling old ones), reset pc and no more cpu pump failure message.
