Aurora-R7, GTX 1080 Ti, S2417DG, not migrated?
Hi, I'm having trouble migrating my Dell S2417DG monitor under the device manager. I get this error Device not migrated Device DISPLAY\DELA0E7\5&4ad323d&1&UID4357 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match. Last Device Instance Id: DISPLAY\Default_Monitor\1&8713bca&0&UID0 Class Guid: {4D36E96E-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Location Path: Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFF0000F102 Present: false Status: 0xC0000719 any help, info, or suggestion would be appreciated :)

If the S2417DG functions with Nvidia G-Sync enabled and you can get 2560x1440 up to 165Hz, then the hardware is OK. That would point to a Windows 10 issue. Moving this thread to the Alienware Desktop board to hopefully get their input.

For my notes and to check the monitor warranty status, click my username and send me the monitor service tag number, 20 digit S/N, and A0x revision via private message.
* You will need to explain what you mean by "migrated"
* What exactly are you doing to generate the error?
* What PC model?
* What video card/GPU?
* How is the S2417DG connected using what cable and ports?

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply!
What I meant by "migrated" is when I open Device Manager>Monitors>Dell S2417DG(DisplayPort)>Properties>Events> and look at the most recent description, it says "device not migrated". I've taken steps in uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the monitor, but the description doesn't change.
I have no idea how and why this error is generated, so I'm looking for help on this forum.
Model:Alienware Aurora R7
Graphics Card:GTX 1080TI
Cables&Connection: Display Port (through the graphic card) and a SuperSpeed USB cable (through the USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on the back panel)
If there is anymore info you require please tell me.

Wait is the most recent timetable description on the bottom of the list?
