That a fairly specific question, but maybe someone will know.
In the duration, I suggest you search the forum. Many have installed nice after-market power-supplies into Aurora R5/R6/R7 over the years. Also search "locked" Alienware General area.
Some have even gotten stock modular OEM 850w PS from Dell-Parts and/or eBay.

I just installed a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, SSR-850FX, 850W Compact Modular Power Supply in my XPS 8930. The XPS 8930 shares the same chassis as the R7 with the swing out bracket. PSU is compact and was the same size as my OEM 460W PSU.. There is a picture of it compared to the OEM PSU here:

The Seasonic also comes with 2 CPU (8/4 pin) modular connectors so you can connect the CPU and GPU plugs on the R7 motherboard.
Fan when on is silent and can be turned off with a button on the back. Decent PSU with some good reviews for the money.

I also had to get a 6 pin SATA cable for the optical drive, check and see if yours is the same.

1. Seasonics are good. I also like mid-to-high-end Corsairs.
2. Nice. Yeah, gotta have that.
Too bad there isn't a continually updated list like this:

I just went through this for a failed HuntKey 850W in my Aurora R6 with a 1080Ti system similar to yours.
After researching EVERYTHING and receiving assistance from the kind folks on this forum, I decided on getting the Delta 850w power supply that comes stock with our units.
I was unfortunate and due to the luck of the draw received the HuntKey and sure enough it died on me in 15 months; 3 months out of warranty.
Dell was great to work with. Call their Technical Support number and ask for a price for the Delta 850w stock power supply - Dell Part Number N1WJD.
There is an EVGA that works and I believe it is the B1 series - 750w. Not the G2, G3, etc. There is a thread here linked into one of my recent posts that has all the information.
I'm a moron and wanted the easiest path using my same cables. The Delta 850w was the most simple for me. It fits perfectly and uses all of my same cables.
Good Luck!

EVGA G3 is supposed to be great for the R7.
I would put that in my system if I needed a replacement, along with custom cables allowing more airflow and easier routing.
