Cleaning tip for Alienware Aurora's

Dear community,

I have a tip for cleaning your Alienware case outside panels.

Take a industrial Alcohol Propanol from at least 70%, make sure you have a can with a sprayer and mix 100ml Propanol with 150ml water, spray 8x = 0,25ml on a clean and soft cloth and gently wipe all panels.

I have a white R 13 and it looks amazing after 3 months, so bright!

I understand what you are saying. At least they got rid of the swing-out PSU contraption for the newest Auroras

This is a $500 CoolerMaster retail case, and with most of the shrouding removed, it also looks pretty industrial.

It seems from R10 to R13 Dell aurora case is modified to having more plastic for the side panel.

1. Agreed (basically sitting on top of the CPU).

2. Looks good. Similar to my Corsair 5000D case.

Distilled water cleans nothing. So Propanol and / or Isopropyl like I said in my post.

I only use isopropyl alcohol to remove thermal paste from CPU's and GPU's, because it leaves no residue behind and really removes the thermal paste well. I use cotton swabs to take off every last bit of old thermal paste before putting on a new layer. You do have to use the 99.9% pure version. I got mine from Amazon.
