AlienFX Not Working Alpha R1

After the Windows 10 Anniversary upgrade AlienFX is no longer able to change colors.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the AWCC to try and fix the problem... this did not work.

I ran the AlienFX tester... this did not help the issue.

No error messages are being displayed on my computer in relation to the problem.

If anyone has had this problem or knows of a fix, please let me know.

My pc is an Alienware Alpha i5 (R1 Model)

Thank you,

composero

Hi,

When you tried the AlienFX tester, it changed the lights?

Uninstall the Command Center using Revo uninstaller to make sure is removed from Programs & Features, Registry files and your C Drive. Then perform a power drain: Unplug the power cable and hold the power button for around a minute. After this, you can reinstall the Command Center here.

Let me know how it goes!

Alright.  I tried this process twice.  The first time nothing happened.  The color is still locked to red as it was before.  (When using the tester prior to all of this, the color never changed from red).

The 2nd time that I followed this process through, I received this message when opening Command Center.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'HDMIIn.Domain, Version=4.0.48.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=bebb3c8816410241' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

There was one other message that popped up when I logged into windows but I did not manage copy the text.  I will reboot my computer and see if that message pops up again.

Is there any news or update for this topic?  I'm really starting to miss the blues and purples that I had before.  (Stuck with the Galactic Red Color at the moment).

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I would also like to note that I reinstalled the AWCC again.  The app itself displays changes, however the lights on the system refuse to change colors.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

It's been a few days since your last reply and I've tried to update my thread with additional information.

Is there any news about an update or additional solution for me to try that may solve my issue?

Thank you

Update:  As of today, I attempted to change the led through the Hivemind program, however this was fruitless.  While the app displayed changes, the lights themselves would not change.
