Alienware 17 screen went black after waking up from sleep. mSATA drive died.

I have a new Alienware 17 (4930MX, GTX 780M, 32GB).  I asked for 1TB SSD RAID-0 but it came from factory with 3 SSDs in RAID-0 and then a single mSATA disk on its own.

Two bad issues:

#1. After the laptop woke up from sleep, the screen turned black.  Would not come on.  Happens 8 out of 10 times it goes to sleep.  Need to hard power off and power on.

#2. The standalone mSATA drive went missing after a few days.  BIOS shows that it s not there.

So, I am now stuck with a practically useless laptop that costs 5K.  Brand new.  Less than 7 days of use.

And I bought two of these for engineering use.  Good thing we haven't bought more for the rest of the team.

If it wasn't for the problems, I would say reconfig drives in desired config and clean install Windows.

Should have 20-30 day return window. For engineering use, a Precision Mobile might be better choice.
