Alienware Aurora - i5 2300 & i5 2500k

Alright guyz am looking at Alienware aurora.... i have seen the default configuration includes a i5-2300,,, but if i upgrade to i5-2500k they charging $150...

i don't understand why so much...

if you goto newegg.. or some other website the price difference between two processor  is only $40-$50 ....

are they also upgrading the motherboard???.... i tried calling customer support but just bogus replies,, they dont know anything..

* Any thoughts I have about pricing would be pure speculation. Your best bet would be to ask the salesperson.

If you goto newegg or some other website, the price difference between the two processors is only $40-$50.
* You cannot compare the specifications and pricing for retail CPUs versus our OEM (original equipment manufacturer) CPUs.

Are they also upgrading the motherboard?
* No. It is the same motherboard.
