Alienware Command Center download is corrupt for M17R4

I have .NET 3.5 installed (installed through control panel Windows features)

Defective Download @ http://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/cabsdt1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=X6VV1&fileId=3148080684&osCode=W864&productCode=alienware-m17x-r4&languageCode=EN&categoryId=AP

Try to perform the following steps:

1-            Uninstall Command Center

2-           Uninstall .Net Framework 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5

3-           Restart the computer

4-            Install .net Framework 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5

5-            Download latest  command center from support.dell.com

6-            Install the Command Center just downloaded

7-            Restart the computer

I know which file your referring to, its been like that for at least 12 months.................

Try this.

When you open the self extracting auto file, don't click "next" - click "extract without installing" and place it on your desktop, open that file and try installing from there.

Make sure to un-install any old command center software and reboot BEFORE you try a re-install
