Alienware M13X not charging.

Hello,

I have tried multiple different solutions to this, such as unplugging, restarting, etc, but nothing seems to work. 

Whilst plugged in, it does not charge. I have had this laptop for not even a year, yet it is still failing on me.

Any fixes for this issue or should I just throw my computer out the window?

Hi, 

Have you tried flashing the latest Bios version?

Try doing a power drain first. To perform a power drain, follow the steps below.

  • Turn the system off and disconnect the AC Adapter. 
  • Disconnect the battery (refer to the Service Manual for disconnecting the battery)
  • Disconnect all external devices (USB devices, headsets, external monitors, etc.)
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Connect everything again and turn on the system.
