Alienware M17x R1 Alienfx
i bought my m17x used and was not told that the fx controller was bricked. i have spent the last month looking for a fix. at one point i even bought a board from china only to have it arrive DOA. i was wondering if there have been any developments in the for of dell or community fixes. F.Y.I. i do not have a warranty and (get a new MOBO is not possible atm.

non of the lights on the laptop work. non of the alien heads, keyboard or trackpad.

Hi Chris,
When I start my alienware( m17xR1) the lights come on but the screen stays blank(actually grey and nothing shows.Any ideas?
