Alienware M18x R2 wont bootup
Hi guys, at first when I was still fine on Window, the screen is blurry (the desktop background with wallpaper is blurry). Then it immediately black out, so I hold the power button to make it shutdown. Then I turned it on, the LED on the keyboard was on, the fan was on, but the screen is blurry with only black and white color, then after 2 secs the screen is completely black out and nothing happen then.
So I removed the battery, power cord, every USB attachments to it, then I put the battery in again, plug the power cord directly to the power source. Turn it on and still nothing changed? What am I suppose to do now :(
(I just hold the Fn Key + Power and it enter POST, my M18x R2 then start beeping continously for a while, and then its start to changing color on the screen: Blue-White-Black-Red-Green, for a while again, finally its beeping continously again (with different sound) and the 3 LED indicators of Capslock, ScrLock, Numlock flashing.)

Hi,
Is there is an external monitor that you can connect to the system (like a TV with an HDMI cable)? Try connecting an external monitor and confirm if you get an image. Also, try pressing the F2 during the initial boot to confirm if you are able to see the BIOS menu.

The beeps are a code - They should come in groups, repeated continuously. Count them and check this table.

My first guess is your video card, it may be the LCD or LCD cable, follow the advice given previously to test on external monitor, if all good on external, it's your LCD or LCD cable, if still having issues on external then it's your video card or cards

It really sounds like your GPU has blown, but laptops can be funny machines and sometimes present misguided or incorrect info, use the beep codes as a general guide only.
If your not confident enough to change the GPU yourself then I suggest taking it to a repair shop that has some experience with gaming computers, ask them to diagnose the problem and get a quote for a new GPU - Agree on a price before you let them near it. I DO NOT suggest taking it to Dell unless you have warranty, they will charge an astronomical price for Alienware repairs outside of warranty - Good luck

Thanks for you guys reply.
Ok, so I just plugged my M18x in my TV via HDMI cable, nothing happen (also I was pressing the F2 button but nothing happen), the TV doesnot catch the signal from the M18x (I even tried both HDMI out and in several times). But when I plugged my other lap - Inspirion in the TV caught it signal and display the screen to the TV almost immediately. So the test on external monitor was failed - confirmed.
Also I did count the beeps, and I count 6 beeps. So its "Video card/chip" problem? Now what can I do to fix my M18x? Thanks.
PS: About more than a week before my M18x completely black-out, I was using it and I suddenly heard a "pop" sound, like when a light bulb pop, I checked around but looks like nothing happened.
Several days later, a weird symptom happen to my M18x, whenever I started to play a game, at the beginning everything seems fine, then no longer than 30 mins later that my screen is blackout and the computer is restart, or I have to do it myself, there seems to be a message window but I cant read it due to the screen is completely blackout. Although I had upgrade to the newest NVDIA driver via GeForce experience, but it still blackout (I even try to install the other older driver from Dell Support but the result still the same). On those days the M18x would not black out if I just use it normally, to surfing web, movies,...but when I played a game, which made the graphic card did more works, it would black out. I did decided to use Alien-respawn, to recovery it back to factory state, but only when I hadbackup my stuffs and finished some works, but unfortunately the M18x completely blackout and cant startup again before I could do it...
