Alienware Sound Drivers Magically Missing
I just muted my computer because I was talking to my friend when I go back to push the mute button again and I get no sound. I click the sound button and a window opens and says: DETECTING SOUND PROBLEMS........Troubleshooting Couldn't Identify the Problem
Right-Clicking the sound button and opening "Playback Devices" produces that there are NO AUDIO DEVICES INSTALLED. I never uninstalled anything...

I have solved this problem thanks to a bit of research.
If anyone has this problem solve it by following these steps:
1. While the AC adapter is plugged in, take out the battery
2. Unplug the AC adapter
3. Hold the power button for 12 seconds
4. Replace the battery
5. Replace the AC adapter
6. Power on computer
I hope this helps anyone who might have this problem.
