Alienware m17x shutdown problem
I have expected sudden shuttdown problems during playing games . Im quite possitive its not overheating problem i tried few stress tests. Its not blue screen it just shutdown itself and i can turn it on again without any problems.

Hi Mirne,
Check out this article, it might help to determine if you are having overheating issues. Let me know how it goes.

Can you check the temperature with the bios ?

im sure its not overheating problem but looks like reinstaling of windows helped ...

I have shutdown issues on m17x as well, however mine started happening after I installed new windows.
the display blacks out and the computer continues working(keyboard lights are on and alienware logo is on).
what is the definite solution to this.
