Aurora R4 - Device manager shows Seagate SATA as SCSI - how to fix?

There is a new Firmware for my hardrive on Dell... ST31000524AS but the system fails when I run the program.

I downloaded the drivedetect from Seagate and it shows up blank when I run it.  Does not register ANY harddrives at all.

Then I noticed my HD was showing up as a SCSI drive in my device manager...

Forum post on MS says it is a problem with Dell's chipsets and to upgrade it...

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-performance/sata-hard-drive-showing-up-as-scsi-poor-hard-drive/fb2a4a2f-56b8-476f-a612-89e5cbee343b

Non Dell PCs show SATA HDs as SATA HDs in the device manager.

So I upgraded the firmware as well, since it was out of date.  I upgraded the BIOS from A02 to A06... still showing up as SCSI.

Only 3 chipset drivers are listed... Dell-Drivers for  Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility v9.2.3.1023; Renesas Integrated USB 3.0 v3.0.8.0; Management Engine Controller v7.1.21.1134
