Aurora R4 Motherboard Replacement

Hello!  A few years ago I purchased the Aurora R4 Alienware Desktop computer.  After about a year my motherboard crashes after trying to fix the loud fan issue that they experience a lot.  I purchased a new Intel X79 LGA2011 Micro ATX Motherboard and I just installed it yesterday.  When I try to boot the computer, I don't get any Beeps and no video signal would go to monitors so I can't tell if it's booting properly or not.  I double checked and triple check my connections and the video card is working properly and monitors are just fine.  But my concern is if I'm missing something when I installed the new motherboard.  Any assistance is needed.

RE: Aurora R4 Motherboard Replacement

Hi.

Have you tried different video connections?

If you have AMD cards they can sometimes act strangely.

What about a complete power drain/CMOS reset?

Do you know 100% that the "New" mobo is/was working?

RE: Aurora R4 Motherboard Replacement

Hi!

I tried moving the video into a different slot.  I also tried a power drain and a CMOS reset with no luck.  I don't know exactly if the motherboard is brand new or not.  The site I purchased it from says its brand new.   Is there a way to verify in any way?
