Aurora system loud
Anyone else have a noise level issue with their system? I just got this about a month ago and I couldn't even tell the system was running it was so quiet. You can definitely tell the system is running now because the noise level has increased
Anyone else have this happen?

I'm going out on a limb here so bare with me, Mine was running wicked quite before my lighting issues started it would fire up loud and then go real quite... Then one time I fired it up I was just sitting at the desktop and my Video card, hard drive exc. were all running at like 55% fans lol. This only happened once and upon restart, I'd wager to bet its related to the command center... So maybe try reinstalling you're command center (since that seems to be running both the venting and lighting)
Sorry if I can't be of more help I just got my system yesterday. Good luck!

Well i do know that every time u start ur system, evey thing turns on and does a system check, that includes all fans. But if the noise stays on after start up and is contant. then then the only thing i can think of is that it is HOT were u live now.. or maybe it summon time.. or just hot in ur room, and ur hardwere is working harder. But other then that i dont really know what it could be. If its fans i dont know, If its raddles, u might wanna go throug hand tighen up all the screws.

Is it like a medium-pitched hum? Not like a 60 cycle hum, but more like a whiny hum? Mine's been doing that the last few days - machine is only a few months old.

Well I just recived a new system exchange and seeing the same problem. At times the system is so quite, it's amazing. That's how my last system was until it decided to go rouge. This is quite once in awhile when i power it up..but most of the time it makes noise not the crazy fan noise. But it makes a lot more noise than usually it should or would. Definitely noticeable.

Yeah exactly! Sounds like it is coming from the back of the machine.
It has nothing to do with the Command Center. Fan speeds and temps have remained the same.

Same here. Most of the times it's very quiet. Sometimes I get the hum at the backend. Don't know if it's the powersupply or vibration.

Ok, This what happens to mine. And I figure I post this picture...as mine turns on with stupid noise!!
Thermal Controller with noise!
Thermal Controller without noise (Goes away after switching from "Auto-->Manual-->Auto" and apply to keep the system quiet)
Any way to fix this @Chris?

This is EXACTLY the same problem I am having. Sometimes the lighting does not work properly either. Please fix this issue as I believe it is unrelated to anything but poor drivers. Unacceptable to release computers that cost this much money to have problems like this.
