BIOS versoin

Hi everyone I’m in need of some help .I was checking my system information on my aleinware aurora R1 desktop and I noticed that my BIOs version/date was A11 28/10/2009. The A11 is right      but I thought after doing an update the date would have changed to 17/06/2013 as it shows on the Dell support site  ?

is there a safe way to uninstall the version i have and install it again ?

Not really.

We both posted that it's ok, and Naomi even said "sometimes expected".

Hi!

Not necessarily, sometimes the date doesn't update correctly and shows the system order date or the date you installed one of the previous versions. As long as you see it's BIOS A11 you can be sure it's the same version.

This is strange because I didn't think A11 was that old (it's true compiled or created date). Are you sure you are looking in the right place?

However, the date you see associated with files on the Dell support sites is the date it was posted.

If you are out-of-warranty and machine is working, I wouldn't worry about it.
