Benchmark score
Good day,
I'm just curious, I did the 3dmark2011 benchmark, my score is the following:
http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3809539
this is not to showoff or anything, everyone here have a AW. I'm just wondering with my current setup, if it's a normal score.
Also, as you can see, the processor clock is indicated as 3799 mhz..
Cheers!

Good day, I will try CPU-Z tonight. Meanwhile, I did a full scan with Alienautopsy(?), I did get a lot of informations, and everything seems to be fine. I will post the information after my day at work.
Cheers!

It's all good guys, you are just not reading the info CPU-Z is giving you correctly. That 800mhz is 1600mhz and let me guess you bought 1600mhz memory. It really is ok
The speed can also be fine. Just because 3Dmark listed 3.8 only means that was the speed when it took the reading. The system could be set to run the first core at 4.1 and the rest at 3.8 and when it took the reading it was at 3.8. The varying of speed can be due to this. To stop it just go to the BIOS and set all the cores to the same 4.1Ghz. You should test it to make sure it is stable if you do this.
Your 3Dmark11 Physics score looks fine and that is your CPU. Your overall score is below average but I'm sure that is because you didn't overclock the gpu. Look at the Similar Systems Scores chart. Most are in the 9000+ range.

Here's some portion of the journal created after the alien autopsy scan. It's in french, but I guess you can figure what it means:
Mémoire
It says that the memory is 1600mhz.
As for the processor, its says actual speed: 3.8ghz and Turbo Boost Max: 4.10 ghz. I am not sure how to interpret that. When I bought the computer, it was written this (again in french):
It's only says "running at 4.1ghz"... Nothing about being OC at that speed, or turbo boost or whatever.
I tried with Intel Turbo Boost monitor, and never saw the machine going to 4.1.
As for CPUZ, didnt tried yet.

I;ve raised this issue before (and a few days ago). my score is below average. and I feel ripped off...
the graphics card I have is woeful (even tho its 3 gig)......
I am, very unimpressed tbh, and would like my money back

Hello Leo, on the processor side of the benchmark it says:
Vitesse Turbo Boost max. 4.10 GHz
Which is the top of your processor speed, this is because a technology called Turbo Boost.
Everything is how it is supposed to be, the computer will only used the full capacity of the processor when needed. That way you can also save power and use it towards the video card, for example.
@b3nje909, which type of computer do you have?

Your scores are perfect, follow this link and see the performance of your card under 3DMark Vantage.
The Score they got is ~5700, you are hitting above that, so I don't see a problem.

in all fairness thats a average score for the 555GT , if you have a google around you willl see its not really a benchmarking GFX card , how does your games run ?
benchmarks arent always the completely spot on , but at the end of the day the m14x aint really a benching machine its a portable gamer
