Better Alienware Aurora graphics card.
im planning on ordering an Alienware Aurora desktop soon, an im trying to decide on which graphics card i want. This is my system so far.

Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English | ||
1 Year Basic Service Plan | ||
Single 1.8GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295 | ||
9GB Triple Channel 1333Mhz DDR3 | ||
1TB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 32MB Cache HDD |
i dont really want to get into Cross fire or SLI, but is the Geforce GTX 295 a good fit for my system?

The card in my pic is a 5870.....no brand listed from the vendor....just generic I guess. And it is real fast.

I have a pair, but I had to disable CrossFireX. The 5970's are a bit quicker, but the 5870 seems more than capable of running just about everything out there.
As long as they run Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3, I'll be happy.

If Blizzard sticks to the way they've done things in the past, those games will run on just about everyone's rigs. They seem to be able to make 'em look nice but not push customers to high end hardware.
