Drivers for Nvidia 660 OEM for X51?

Hey everyone, does any know if there's a Nvidia driver for the 660 OEM for the X51? I installed a SSD into my X51 and I'm trying to find a driver for the graphics card. The one on Nvidia's site refuses to install because it can't find compatible hardware, and Dell does not have it on either their resource CD or their website. If anyone could point me to a download, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Like I mentioned, the newest Nvidia driver 306.02 do not work because this is a OEM card, and requires OEM drivers.

Would also like an answer to this. The current drivers my X51 shipped with (301.42) have known issues/bugs that make this card/desktop unacceptable while playing some games. We need an update ASAP, even if it's to beta drivers.

None of the drivers I found on the Nvidia site will recognize the card, since it is OEM. HYope to see support soon, or I will be returning my X51 within the 30 day window.

I can help you with this but I need you to tell me your 660's Device Instance Path which can be found by looking in the device manger under display adapters. click on your 660 then goto properties then to the details tab and select Device Instance Path should look like this... PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2572&SUBSYS_019D1028&REV_02\3&172E68DD&0&10, copy and paste yours into this thread.

I'll mod the latest driver and make it so you can install driver 306.02 onto your system.

Please add me as a friend or accept my friend request so I may start a private message session with you, this is needed so I can send you the download link after I mod the driver.

i also need the 660 OEM drivers.

When my PC arrives tomorrow i will copy and paste the info needed.

Will this then make that modded driver aviabile to all 660 users or is it card specifiic ?

Dell dont even have any 660 drivers listed!

Your are a saint, thank you!

I have changed nothing from how it arrived from the factory: Alienware X51 with OEM 660:

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1185&SUBSYS_098A10DE&REV_A1\4&382692A7&0&0008

Wow, you do know you only need to supply the modded .INF file? Far smaller and then all anyone has to do is attempt an install, after it fails copy the new file to where the driver was unpacked and install again from the folder. Simplez.
