HDD driver problems

Hello,

this is my first post to the forum and i'm afraid it has to start with a question...

I have an Alienware Aurora ALX R1 and was installing a new OS (windows 7) and everything was going fine.

After i installed the HDD drivers such as:

Intel_Matrix-Storage-Manager_A01_R235890.exe

Silicon-Integrated-Systems_S_A02_R235001.exe

INTEL_RAPID-STORAGE-TECHNOLO_A02_R255950.exe

2 of my 3 HDD's Disappeared, these 2 were Seagate 1TB drives, the one that remained was a western digital that contained my OS.

I have since uninstalled these drivers and restarted my PC, but the HDD's will not reappear in my OS but they are in Device Manager and the BIOS.

Anybody know the fix?

Try a another "clean Windows install" to a completely blank disk.

DO NOT ever install any Intel RST (or Matrix was the old name).

It worked, thanks, another day on a console would have been the end of me
