How do I add a cooling fan to an Aurora desktop and get the thermal control to control it?

Ok I have an older Aurora desktop I think it is an R1. I got it in Nov of 2009 and it is not an ALX. I have the P0GVP main I/O board and wanted to add a ram cooling fan to the board (I know I don't need it but the ram kit I bought came with it so why not use it). It is a corsair kit here is the SKU # CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 and it comes with the air flow II fan set up. I wanted to know if anyone knew which port I should plug the fan into on the main I/O board and how I can get the alienware thermal controller to recognize the fan and control it?
