M11X R2 Keyboard Alien FX feature displaying distorted color
Basically as the title says. If I have my Alien FX as white on my keyboard, the ESC key shows up as pink. I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled Alien Command Center 2 times to no avail. Can anyone help me?
Thank you,
Michael

Try all of the other keyboard colors and check the ESC key. Does it ever use the correct color?

The lighter color FX settings make the ESC key look darker. The darker colors have a pinker hue to them. In general the ESC key is not as bright as any other corner key.
Thanks so much...

Choose different colors and post pictures of the ESC key.

I shot these in the daytime so the problem isn't as evident. You can still see a slight difference in color.

I too have this problem. My keys near the left side of the keyboard are a little orange when in white mode. I can't find a solution anywhere.

How long does it typically take for Dell to address issues like these?
Other folks experiencing this problem, please up your evidence...maybe we can get this taken care of sooner

Awhile. They have to replicate the issue in the lab before they can discover the root cause.

All M11x's do this. It's because of the configuration of the LEDs and how certain colors are mixed. Brian, who used to be with Alienware Quality discussed this when the R1 was in its infancy.

See post #7 from Brian/erawneila in that thread. Until a few months ago he was on the M11x Quality team and had direct access to the designers and engineers for the model. There are lots of other posts on those forums that back this up. It's just how the LED are arranged on the M11x's keyboard. The M15x and M17x have better lighting in their full-sized keyboard.
