M17x-R3, HDMI IN not working
Everything was cool, I hit FN + F8 to minimize it for a second, then I did it again to open it up but it never turned back on. I tried unplugging the hdmi cable and plugging it back in, updating my drivers again, and downloading on screen display but none of it worked. I tested my device on my tv and it worked so I know it isn't the cord/devices fault. I saw the nvidia registry hack but I'm on AMD Radeon HD 6870M.
How can I fix this?

I have't had this issue before but for my M17X R4 I had a problem where my USB ports refused to work. I fixed it by disconnecting the mains and taking the battery out for a few seconds. It's a long shot but I'm afraid that's all I can suggest.

For my experience with AMD cards on that model, I suggest you use the Dell branded driver and checkout this article for more information.
