McAfee installer doesn’t work with Windows 10
Today I am trying to install McAfee Live Safe - Common Build downloaded from "My Dell Downloads" on Windows 10, after downloaded, when I clicked "Install" on Dell MediaDownload, I received an error "This app can't run on this PC". The error says,
"McAfee Total Protection 2012 and 2013 doesn't work on this version of Windows. Learn more".
When I click "Learn more", it says,
"Your app doesn’t work with Windows 10
The app you’re trying to use was blocked from opening because it might damage your PC or result in loss of data. This is because some apps that worked with a previous version of Windows might not work in the same way with Windows 10.
Go to the support website for the app developer, and check if a new or updated version of this app is available for Windows 10."

Hi,
Try right clicking on the McAfee installer, click Properties, look or the Compatibility tab and click on it, set the program to run with Windows 8 or 7 and apply the changes. Try running the installer after this.

But... my McAfee still have an activated 1 year license, I don't want to waste it.

That is fine.
Install the Win-10 compatible version of McAfee with the updated installer, and activate it with your license.
