New battery not charging nor working ??
Hello,
I bought a new battery for my alienware R1 2015 laptop and replaced the old one myself because i'm an engineer and i have a lot of confidential information on it. But still getting battery permanent failure and not charging issue. Is there anyway to fix this issue ??
I got the device from amazon for that the local dell (IN SAUDI ARABIA) will not fix it without money and it will cost more than 200$ known that the battery is cheap and the installation will not take more than an hour.
Best Regards.

Try updating the Bios version to the latest here and also reset the CMOS battery.

Already tried to update bios but it keep refusing to be updated since the battery is less than 10%. I did the CMOS battery reset after installing the new battery to reset any error stored in the MB memory.

Check the service manual here and make sure the battery is properly installed.

If everything is properly connected then there must be something wrong with the motherboard or the battery itself.
