Remove battery from alienware m14x
Hi ,
I got Dell Alienware m14x . I'm wondering if I can remove the battery from my computer and play without it? and use the cable comes with laptop as power supply .
I just want to decrease weight / heat in my laptop .

you can remove.... requires removing bottom panel and some screws , takes like 5 minutes but honestly for the lb~ not worth it to be hnest..

This is not recommended.
Since you don't have a UPS Battery (like APC unit) attached, this battery serves same (important) purpose. Like, FP says, weight is not much. Also, it's ok to keep Lithium batteries charged to 100% most of the time. Just run them down to 20% about once a month.
