Replacing a Hard Drive in an Aurora R4 with a RAID 10 setup
I'd love to have someone verify what I think I know:
one of my four 1TB Seagate HD's is failing and I want to replace it (a WD 1TB is being delivered today). From what I've been able to gather from Internet research, it looks like it's as simple as a hot swap (machine on, unplug/remove the old drive, install the new drive, RAID rebuilds itself).
Could someone with a bunch more knowledge than me verify that, especially if there's a "trick" or "don't do this" involved.

It really isn't something too hard to do. As you stated yourself - it's just a plug and play scenario.
The Hard Drives since they are in RAID 1+0 it will rebuild and replicate what's on the main setting.
But if you want here's a video on how to take out the Hard Drive and replace it.

Thanks Jose. The replacement was as easy as advertised. It wasn't exactly automatic in the sense that I didn't have to do anything - the RAID manager software forced me to click on Rebuild New Volume - minimal human input required.
Otherwise my system's back to normal.
