Swapping Mobo from R1 to R3, R4, or other auroras
Hi guys,
My aurora R1 is a bit outdated and thinkin to upgrade the mobo, if i use ASUS or any other mobos besides alienware/dell, the vents and lights wont work.
so what if i use R2 R3 or R4 mobo ? will the LED and vents still works ?

It should work since they are the same chassis but maybe a call into dell tech support can answer that question.
Do you really ahve the i7 2700k in your desktop? I just picked up a refurb'd R3 with the 2600 processor and I ordered the 2700k for a build I was going to do but decided to go with the R3 instead. I was able to cancel my other parts but not the processor in enough time, so I still got sent the processor. I am tempted to change the processor and it should work but I don't know if it's worth the extra $330 i paid for it and just maybe send it back. I don't plan to overclock. How is it working for you?
